Ericka L Rice is a self-taught artist. Born in 1977 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Ericka took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, Ericka developed an appreciation for her ability to do art.  She was seen quite often sitting with just a pad of paper drawing. Then it progressed into drawing for cookbook covers for local fundraisers, winning poster contests, and great works of art for both herself as well as the small town community of Lime Springs, Iowa. During high school she was offered a scholarship for art but decided that at that time it was more important to persue in getting married and having a family. Although Ericka never really forgot about her artwork. As soon as her children became a little older she started doing some sign work for buisnesses, making and painting crafts for selling, and she has been a floral designer (self taught) for almost 13 years and works for the local greenhouse/floral shop.

Ericka is now living in Lime Springs, Iowa. She has three wonderful children who keep her plenty busy. She has decided that it is time to put her painting side jobs to work and start her own business. Therefore is the birth of B Yond Color.....
